Thank you for considering Shining Stars Bartending Services for your bartending needs. Our company is licensed in Missouri states.  We carry full liability insurance for your event and all of our bartenders are licensed and experienced. We can provide liquor by the drink services in both Mo

Liquor Licenses

We are happy to provide copies of our licenses below. . .these are full licenses with Sunday and Cash by the Drink.

Mo State Liquor License

Kansas City, Mo

Platte County Liquor License

Other municipalities may be selected in Mo and Kansas, a license fee may be assessed.

For each event in which we provide bartending, we send copies of State and City Liquor Licenses and Kansas City Liquor Licenses to each event and for each bartender/bar back that works your event.  You can rest assured that we will be providing not only a professional service, but are fully complying with all laws within the states and cities we work in. If you are comparing Shining Stars Bartending Services with other services, please make sure you ask your provider if they can provide copies of State and City Licenses.

We are adding liquor licenses in cities in Mo as we grow! If your venue is in another city, please ask if we can have or can get a license for the location of your venue!

Insurance

We provide full insurance and liability policies for both catering and bartending services. Our insurance provider is happy to provide proof of insurance to you or your venue.

What is included in our Bar Service? Our Service is completely customizable.

Bartenders We provide one bartender for every 75 guests. For events over this size, we provide a complimentary bar backs to provide support for the bartenders and to guarantee optimum service and to make sure your lines are short and the guest tables are glass and litter free.

Customized Selections and Consultations  -We can include your complete bar selections at a private tasting of food and libations.

Catering and Bartending - A natural combo! By selecting Shining Stars Catering and Bartending together, you know that your planning process is going to be very seamless and simple. Our bar backs can provide passed wine and beer service during your cocktail hour to alleviate lines at the bar in the beginning of your event or during busy times at the bar. Our teams work together to make sure that the flow of your event is amazing. You work with one firm, write one check and know that all of your guests needs will be taken care of and that the service will be optimal.

All the Extras - Just as with our catering service, Shining Stars can provide whatever may be needed to make your reception dreams come true. All Bar Ware, specialized equipment, such as rolling bar carts and even linens may be ordered from Shining Stars. When real barware is ordered, extra bar backs are provided to bus the barware from guest tables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to use our catering service to use our bartending service?  Shining Stars can provide bartending for any event, even if there is another catering service.  Although we love providing both catering and bartending, our bartending is designed to be a “stand alone” service should you choose to use another catering company.

Can Shining Stars Provide Bartending Only? We do not provide bartending services for alcohol not purchased through Shining Stars due to state and city regulations.  We provide very competitive pricing, so we’d love to provide a quote for your alcohol!

What is the retainer for Shining Stars Bartending Services? A retainer of $500 must be provided along with a Bartending Contract to book your date. Your final guest count must be turned in three weeks prior to the event and paid in full two weeks prior to the event.
